Hop Atomica is a Savannah-based micro-brewery and neighborhood gastropub in Savannah, Georgia. Their location – a 1950s era service station – served as the inspirational origin for a brand that celebrates the alchemy and science that goes into craft brewing. Blending clean geometries, exacting details and fine lines, the custom wordmark includes levitating letterforms while the iconography and patterning nods to molecules, magnetic fields, orbits and beer hops.
Wrap labels let the cans’ contrasting metallics play against washed, matte vintage hues and gold foils. The brewery’s sense of cheeky charm is carried through on can copy, with different brews listing playful warnings or hypotheses.
